The ZSLT-M Junior Championships will once again take place throughout August and September at various regional clubs, including TC Horgen. Young tennis players will compete in exciting matches as they battle for the championship titles in their respective age categories. TC Horgen is proud to be one of the host venues and wishes all participants the best of luck, fair matches, and, above all, an enjoyable tournament experience.

TC Junior Open

The TC Horgen Junior Open will take place on the weekend of August 29 and 30, 2026. Following last year’s great success, this public junior tournament (for licensed players) is being held for the second time this year. Participation is free for all junior players from Horgen (otherwise, the entry fee is 40 CHF). We hope this will encourage our junior players to get started in competitive tennis. The tournament was very well booked last year—so it’s best to register right away through Swiss Tennis! You can find all further information on our website.

Coop Community Challenge

This year, TC Horgen is participating in the Coop Community Challenge—the national physical activity promotion program organized by the Federal Office of Sport (BASPO) and “swiss.moves.” As part of this initiative, more than 20 children at TC Horgen were able to get their first taste of tennis while also getting some valuable exercise.

A shared passion for tennis and the Horgen community connect TC Horgen with TC Dow Europe.

TC Horgen is pleased to announce a partnership with TC Dow Europe. Members of TC Dow Europe can now participate in TC Horgen's various events. For example, during the club championship weekend, at the “Meet & Compete” club championships, or at other social events such as the doubles fun tournaments (brunch, Jass), or the summer night festival. TC Horgen looks forward to welcoming many members of TC Dow Europe. Further joint events and deeper cooperation are planned.

Vision Infrastructure – for a successful future for TC Horgen

TC Horgen is doing extremely well: its junior section is growing rapidly, tennis is enjoying great popularity, and the club is attracting numerous new members. However, despite its current success and many activities, the club is not only looking at the “here and now,” but also to the future.

Due to increasing capacity constraints, there is a need for additional courts and year-round playing facilities. At the same time, the vision of a new clubhouse is taking shape, as the existing one no longer meets today's requirements. The board, supported by a dedicated infrastructure commission, is working intensively on the further development of the Allmend facility. The aim is not only to overcome challenges, but also to seize opportunities to make the club even more attractive for the coming decades. The goal: to create the best conditions for a vibrant, modern tennis sport in Horgen.

Many discussions and clarifications have already taken place with the lessor, AKH Pro Sport Horgen, associations, other clubs, and the municipality—the signs are promising!
