Defibrillator

Gerne informieren wir dich, dass wir seit Neustem einen Defibrillator bei uns im Club haben, um auch im medizinischen Notfall ausgerüstet zu sein. Der Defibrillator ist gut ersichtlich im Aussenbereich beim Eingang zur Damengarderobe in einem Defibrillator Kasten zu finden. Falls du an einer Einführung zur Benutzung eines Defibrillators interessiert bist, kannst du dich per E-Mail bei uns melden und wir werden mit den interessierten Clubmitgliedern Einführungskurse organisieren.

We want to inform you that we now have a defibrillator in our club to be equipped for a medical emergency. The defibrillator can be found in the outside area next to the ladies' dressing room entrance in a defibrillator box. If you are interested in introducing the use of a defibrillator, you can contact us by e-mail, and we will organize introductory courses with interested club members.

ITF Junior Zürichsee Open

Vom 11. bis 18. September (Ersatztag 19. September) findet auf unserer Anlage nach der letztjährigen Covid-Pause wieder das J5 ITF Zürichsee Open statt. Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation und der geltenden Vorschriften gibt es ein paar zusätzliche Punkte zu beachten.

Deshalb bitten wir dich, die nachfolgenden Punkte genau durchzulesen, damit du über die ITF-Woche bei uns im Club informiert bist.

Zugang Anlage
Clubmitglieder können zum Spielen, sofern Plätze verfügbar sind (siehe unten), oder zum Zuschauen (siehe unten) auf die Anlage kommen. Wenn auf der Anlage der Turnierbetrieb läuft, muss beim Eingang Fieber gemessen sowie eine "Self Declaration" durchgeführt werden. Wenn diese von der ITF auferlegten Punkte erfüllt sind, kann man sich auf der Anlage aufhalten. 

Platzverfügbarkeit 
Bis am Mittwochabend des 15. Septembers werden voraussichtlich alle Plätze benötigt, d.h. es gibt an diesen Tagen voraussichtlich keine Spielmöglichkeiten für Clubmitglieder. Sofern alle Spiele planmässig durchgeführt werden können, stehen ab Mittwochabend Plätze für die Clubmitglieder zum Spielen zur Verfügung.

Die Platzverfügbarkeit wird jederzeit auf GotCourts aktualisiert. Bis zum Turnierstart sind alle Plätze vorsorglich für das Turnier reserviert. Wenn das Turnier planmässig verläuft, werden die verfügbaren Plätze für die Clubmitglieder zum Spielen freigegeben. Es lohnt sich somit, immer mal wieder die Platzverfügbarkeit in GotCourts zuschauen. Unter Umständen gibt es auch spontane Spielmöglichkeiten.

Keine Garderoben/Duschen
Während des Turniers stehen keine Garderoben bzw. Duschen für Mitglieder zur Verfügung. Diese werden während des ganzen Zeit für das Turnier benötigt.

Zuschauer
Zuschauer sind auf der Anlage mit Einschränkungen willkommen. Wir möchten darauf hinweisen, dass aufgrund der aktuellen Covid-19 Situation und den Vorschriften der ITF zurückhaltend mit dem Besuch der ITF-Spiele umgegangen werden muss. Wir müssen sicherstellen, dass zu jeder Zeit der Schutz der Spieler/-innen gewährleistet ist. Im Extremfall kann es sein, dass Zuschauer beim Eingang warten oder abgewiesen werden müssen.

Keine Parkplätze 
Die Parkplätze werden während der ganzen Woche für den Turnierbetrieb benötigt. Falls es Spielmöglichkeiten gibt, bitten wir dich, zu Fuss, mit dem ÖV oder dem Fahrrad in den Club zu kommen.

Wir sind uns bewusst, dass diese ITF-Junior-Turnierwoche zu ein paar Umständen im Clubbetrieb führt. Mit der oben beschriebenen Organisation sind wir jedoch überzeugt, trotz der aktuellen Situation eine pragmatische Lösung gefunden zu haben, die das Clubleben so wenig als möglich beeinträchtigt und den ITF-Turnierbetrieb ermöglicht.

From September 11 to 18 (alternate day September 19), the J5 ITF Zürichsee Open will take place in our facility after last year's Covid break. Due to the current situation and regulations, there are a few additional points to consider.

We ask you to read the following points carefully to be informed about the ITF week at our club.

Access to the facility
Club members may come to the facility to play if courts are available (see below) or to watch (see below). In addition, if tournament activities are ongoing at our club, one must take fever at the entrance and make a self-declaration. If these points imposed by the ITF are fulfilled, one can move around the facility without restrictions. 

Court availability 
All courts are expected to be needed by the evening of Wednesday, September 15, meaning there will likely be no playing opportunities for club members on those days. However, provided all games can be played as scheduled, courts will be available for club members to play beginning Wednesday evening.

In GotCourts, we will update court availability at all times. All courts are reserved for the tournament as a precaution until the tournament starts. Then, if the tournament goes according to the plan, it will release the available courts for club members to play. It is, therefore, worthwhile to check the availability of courts in GotCourts from time to time. There may also be spontaneous opportunities to play.

No cloakrooms/showers
During the tournament, there are no cloakrooms/showers available to club members. Therefore, they will use them used for the tournament the whole time.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome at the facility with restrictions. However, we would like to point out that people must be cautious about attending ITF matches due to the current Covid-19 situation and ITF regulations. We have to make sure that at all times, the protection of the players is guaranteed. In extreme cases, spectators may have to wait at the entrance or be turned away.

No parking 
Parking will be required throughout the week for tournament operations. If there are opportunities to play, we ask that you come to the club on foot, by public transportation, or by bicycle.

We are aware that this ITF Junior tournament week will cause some circumstances in the club operation. However, with the organization described above, we are convinced to have found a pragmatic solution despite the current situation, which affects the club life as little as possible and allows the ITF tournament operation.
 

Kündigung von Toni

Toni hat sich entschieden, den TC Horgen als Wirt nach dieser Sommersaison per Ende Oktober zu verlassen. Bis dahin wird er uns wie gewohnt im Clubhaus bewirten. Wir danken ihm bereits an dieser Stelle für seinen Einsatz und die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten während den letzten drei Jahren und freuen uns, diese noch bis Ende Oktober weiter geniessen zu können! Seine Dienste für den TC Horgen werden wir anlässlich der «Ustrinketä» am Ende der Sommersaison offiziell verdanken.

Wer in der nächsten Sommersaison die Gastronomie bei uns übernehmen wird, ist zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch unklar. Wir werden gegen Ende dieser Sommersaison mit der Suche beginnen und dich wieder informieren, sobald wir eine/n Nachfolger/-in gefunden haben. Falls du jemanden kennst, der/die bereits Erfahrung als Gastgeber/-in in der Gastronomie mitbringt und idealerweise bereits in einer ähnlichen Funktion gearbeitet hat, kannst du gerne ermuntern, Patrick Ernst unter finanzen@tchorgen.ch zu kontaktieren.

Toni has decided to leave TC Horgen as chef after this summer season at the end of October. Until then, he will continue to serve us in the clubhouse as usual. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his commitment and culinary delights over the last three years and look forward to enjoying them until the end of October! We will officially thank him for his services to TC Horgen at the "Ustrinketä" at the end of the summer season.

Who will take over his position in the next summer season is still unclear at the moment. We will start the search towards the end of this summer season and inform you again as soon as we have found a successor. If you know someone who already has experience as a chef and ideally has worked in a similar capacity, please encourage them to contact Patrick Ernst at finanzen@tchorgen.ch.
